LaKisha Geans is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and Rhetorical Advocacy and Multicultural Relations. She has worked in several genres of the industry from Event Planning, Promotions, and Publicity & Media Relations to Development and Sales & Marketing based communications with Fortune 500 companies to small non-profit/ and community resource organizations. She is experienced at evaluating current communications efforts and suggesting multiple avenues and solutions for targeting new and existing audiences.  

With a combination of five years experience in business management and public relations, she has provided commutation to freelance and volunteer clients that drive business and presents result. She has an expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher to develop effective communication materials and presentations. She has conducted quantitative and qualitative based research using communications databases Cision, email distribution services such as Constant Contact, and BurrellesLuce media services. Throughout LaKisha’s educational/professional career, and involvement in innovative projects she has acquired a working knowledge of creative program such as InDesign and Adobe Photoshop. Her motto, “Diligence, unquestionable work ethic, and active listening skills” are the keys to her success in this business.

LaKisha now resides in Atlanta where she operates GeanPool Consulting (Publicity & Public Relations).
